Founder

Justin Beene lives with his wife and their three children in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Justin holds a Bachelors of Social Work and Family Studies from Western Michigan University, a Masters in Social Work in Management of Human Services from the University of Michigan, a Master's of Arts in Ministry Leadership from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, a Doctorate in Transformational Leadership with a focus in Entrepreneurial Transformation from Bakke Graduate University. Justin is the Visionary/Founder of an innovative partnership called the Grand Rapids Center for Community Transformation, a collective between non-profits; Bethany, NAACP of GR, GR Nehemiah Project, and two social enterprises, Building Bridges Professional Services and Rising Grinds Café-- together partners work to create a flourishing city.

Further, Justin is a serial social entrepreneur starting both social enterprises, Building Bridges Professional Services and Rising Grinds Café, along with other social enterprises; Impact Partners, L3C, CocoWorks, L3C, Transformational Executive Coaching, LLC. Justin is a visionary and practitioner with extensive knowledge and skills in starting and scaling social enterprises. He is a senior fellow of Street Psalms.
