You are invited to an evening celebrating freedom of religion and conscience in the American tradition. Rev. Robert Sirico, president of Acton Institute, will speak on the current threats to religious freedom as well as opportunities to protect our freedom. Rev. Phil Smith, from the Eternal Word Church in Grandville, will offer the invocation. Our evening will be closed in prayer led by Reverend Tyler Wagenmaker of Beaverdam Christian Reformed Church.  You don't want to miss this!

The evening will take place in "The Center." Please use Entrance C.

Rev. Robert A. Sirico is known by many as a public intellectual. He is often in the pages of prominent newspapers or on the radio or television, being called upon for statements regarding economics, civil rights, and issues of religious concern. In addition to his duties as president of the Acton Institute, Rev. Sirico serves on the staff of Sacred Heart of Jesus parish in Grand Rapids, Michigan and is the founder of a new religious community, St. Philip Neri House, also in Grand Rapids. Rev. Sirico received his Master of Divinity degree from the Catholic University of America, with undergraduate study at the University of Southern California and the University of London. He holds an honorary doctorate in Christian ethics from the Franciscan University of Steubenville, as well as an honorary doctorate in social sciences from Universidad Francisco Marroquin.
