Jordan Ballor will take a look at God's lordship over all creation, and how this is expressed in social life. There are discrete areas of human life that God has ordained for different and distinct purposes, like the family, church, business, and government. When each of these fulfills its purposes, social justice is achieved.

Jordan J. Ballor (Dr. theol. des., University of Zurich) is a research fellow at the Acton Institute and serves as executive editor of the Journal of Markets & Morality. He is author of Ecumenical Babel: Confusing Economic Ideology and the Church's Social Witness (Christian's Library Press, 2010). He is also a visiting professor of business and social ethics at Kuyper College and a doctoral candidate in historical and moral theology at Calvin Theological Seminary.
