Fr. Elias Carr is Canon Regular of Saint Augustine of Stift Klosterneuburg. Ordained in 1999, he has served in parishes and schools in Austria, Norway, and the U.S. He earned his doctorate in theology at the JPII Pontifical University in Kraków in 2022. Word on Fire published his first book, I Came to Cast Lightning—An Introduction to René Girard, in 2024. He now serves as the Kämmerer of Klosterneuburg Abbey.
