Zalán Hegyes from Budapest, Hungary is member of the Acton Institute’s 2023 Emerging Leaders class.. He studies political science at the Corvinus University of Budapest with a special interest in political philosophy. He is experienced in organizing lectures and debates for the public as well as for the academy. Zalán's research interests include economic theory, political theory and political economy. He has also written several papers on Hungarian political thought. As a member of the Emerging Leaders Program, he works at the Poverty Cure Center.
