Andrea Moury joined the Acton Institute in June of 2018, assisting our Program Outreach department with Acton’s various educational conferences. Andrea currently serves as Program Coordinator, where she enjoys promoting and expanding our external outreach through a variety of program initiatives. Along with planning and facilitating Acton’s conferences and lectures, she appreciates the opportunities this role gives her to meet conference attendees and speakers from all around the world.
Prior to moving to Grand Rapids, Andrea spent two summers interning in Washington, D.C. During her time there, she gained valuable experience in the development and communications teams of two political advocacy organizations. Andrea received her B.A. from Franciscan University of Steubenville where she studied political science, legal studies, and human life studies. While in college, Andrea became interested in event planning through her involvement in planning student government and hall council events, as well as study abroad trips. A natural organizer, while studying abroad in Europe, Andrea planned trips to 56 locations in 18 countries over the period of just under four months. In her spare time, Andrea enjoys traveling, running, trying her hand at new recipes, and spending time hiking, camping, or otherwise exploring the great outdoors.
