Andreas Widmer is Research Fellow in Entrepreneurship.  He is the cofounder of SEVEN Fund, a philanthropic organization run by entrepreneurs who invest in original research, books, films, and websites to further enterprise solutions to poverty. He works closely with entrepreneurs, investors, and faith leaders around the world to foster enterprise solutions to poverty and promote virtuous business practices, with an emphasis upon developing entrepreneurial initiatives at the intersection of business and faith.

Charissa Romens earned her B.A. in Philosophy from Ave Maria University in Naples, Florida. Before coming to Acton, Charissa worked in public relations and marketing in the luxury resorts industry. In her role as Program Manager, Charissa manages Acton's relationship with their International Affiliates, works closely with the office in Rome, and coordinates various international conferences and events. In her free time, Charissa volunteers with a local youth group.

Glenn Sunshine is chair of the History department at Central Connecticut State University. He holds his Ph.D. in Renaissance and Reformation History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an M.A. Church History from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Professor Sunshine is also a content advisor for the “'Wide Angle’ Worldview Curriculum,” a project of the Wilberforce Forum and Purpose Driven Ministries, and a faculty member for the Centurions Program, part of the Wilberforce Forum. Professor Sunshine has published several books along with numerous articles and scholarly papers.

Jonathan Witt, writer and research fellow with the Acton Institute, wrote scripts for The Call of the Entrepreneurand The Birth of Freedom, and co-wrote the script for The Privileged Planet (2004), all of which have aired on PBS. He also wrote scripts for the Effective Stewardship DVD Series, published by Zondervan. Previously Witt served as the writer in residence with the Seattle-based Center for Science & Culture and as a tenured professor of literature and creative writing at Lubbock Christian University. Kevin Schmiesing, Ph.D., is a research fellow for  the research department at the Acton Institute. He is a frequent writer on Catholic social thought and economics, is the author of American Catholic Intellectuals, 1895-1955 (Edwin Mellen Press, 2002) and is most recently the author of Within the Market Strife: American Catholic Economic Thought from Rerum Novarum to Vatican II (Lexington Books, 2004).
