Kevin Schmiesing, Ph.D., is a research fellow for Research department at the Acton Institute. He is a frequent writer on Catholic social thought and economics, is the author of American Catholic Intellectuals, 1895-1955 (Edwin Mellen Press, 2002) and is most recently the author of Within the Market Strife: American Catholic Economic Thought from Rerum Novarum to Vatican II (Lexington Books, 2004).

Stephen J. Grabill

Stephen Grabill earned his B.A. in philosophy and political science from Liberty University and his M.T.S., Th.M., and Ph.D. from Calvin Theological Seminary. Mr. Grabill's research interests include Protestant social thought, the thought of Abraham Kuyper, and Christian social ethics. His responsibilities at the Institute include serving as executive editor of the Journal of Markets & Morality.

Jennifer Roback Morse

Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, Senior Fellow in Economics at the Acton Institute and regular contributor to National Review Online and The National Catholic Register, received her Ph.D. in economics from the University of Rochester. Until recently, she was a Research Fellow at the Hoover Institution. She has been on the faculty of Yale University and George Mason University, and is the author of Love and Economics: Why the Laissez-Faire Family doesn't work.

Marvin Olasky

Marvin Olasky teaches journalism history, sports writing and journalism and religion. He has co-authored seven more books including More Than Kindness and published more than 400 journal and magazine articles on topics including welfare reform, history and sports. Olasky is editor of World magazine, for which he writes a weekly column. He also writes a bi-weekly column for the Austin American Statesman and occasional columns for USA Today, the Wall Street Journal and Investor's Business Daily. He is a senior fellow of the Capital Research Center, an elder at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, and faculty adviser for Reformed University Fellowship. Before joining The University of Texas at Austin faculty in 1983, Olasky spent five years as an executive speech writer and public affairs coordinator at the DuPont Company in Wilmington, Del. Olasky received the B.A. degree from Yale University, worked as a reporter on the Bend (Ore.) Bulletin, and the Boston Globe, then earned M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in American Culture from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.

Anthony B. Bradley is a research fellow at the Acton Institute, and visiting professor of theology and the King's College in New York.

Glenn Sunshine

Glenn Sunshine is chair of the History department at Central Connecticut State University. He holds his Ph.D. in Renaissance and Reformation History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an M.A. Church History from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Professor Sunshine is also a content advisor for the “'Wide Angle’ Worldview Curriculum,” a project of the Wilberforce Forum and Purpose Driven Ministries, and a faculty member for the Centurions Program, part of the Wilberforce Forum. Professor Sunshine has published several books along with numerous articles and scholarly papers.

Alejandro A. Chafuen

Alejandro A. Chafuen has been president and CEO of Atlas Economic Research Foundation since 1991 and is president and founder of the Hispanic American Center of Economic Research. A graduate of Grove City College and the Argentine Catholic University, Buenos Aires, he also holds a Ph.D. in economics from International College, California. He is a frequent commentator on economics, security, and strategic threats in Latin America, as well as on the relationship between economics and ethics. As well as publishing articles in newspapers ranging from the Wall St Journal to La Nacion, he is also the author of Faith and Liberty, which has been published in several languages and in different editions in Spain, Poland and Italy. He is one of the world's leading commentators on the economic thought of Thomistic and Late-Scholastic thinkers. He is also a member of the advisory board of the Social Affairs Unit (U.K.) and since 1980, a member of the Mont Pèlerin Society.
