Money, Morality, and the Economic Crisis

Thomas E. Woods, Jr. is a senior fellow at the Ludwig von Mises Institute and the author of nine books, including two New York Times bestsellers: Meltdown: A Free-Market Look at Why the Stock Market Collapsed, the Economy Tanked, and Government Bailouts Will Make Things Worse and The Politically Incorrect Guide to American History. Woods won first place in the 2006 Templeton Enterprise Awards for his book The Church and the Market: A Catholic Defense of the Free Economy. In addition to his writing appearing in dozens of popular and scholarly periodicals, Woods is a frequent guest on multiple FOX News programs, MSNBC, and C-Span as well as on over 200 radio programs. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Harvard and his master’s, M.Phil., and Ph.D. from Columbia University.
