
To commemorate the 15th anniversary of the late John Paul II’s social encyclical Centesimus Annus, the Acton Institute is sponsoring a series of 9 lectures between 2005 and 2007
Centesimus Annus opened up new horizons in the area of Catholic social teaching.
The common theme of these conferences is to highlight Centesimus Annus’ contributions to Christian social thought, and it’s insights into the political, economic, and cultural dilemmas confronting the modern world.
Eight of the nine lectures will be held in Rome and one will be held in Lublin, Poland.
