Dr. Samuel Gregg joined host G. Gordon Liddy on the October 30 edition of the G. Gordon Liddy Show to discuss the negative ripple effects of the subprime mortgage crisis not just on the overall home lending market, but on the overall economy as well. Dr. Gregg also urged restraint on the part of congressional and executive branch proponents of government regulation who are chomping at the bit to “solve” this problem with more regulatory intrusion into the marketplace, noting that governmental attempts to correct such problems often end up perpetuating the conditions that were intended to be corrected.
