Religion and Politics--what does it mean? Acton Director of Programs Michael Miller contends that the most pressing questions that must be addressed are: Is it appropriate to discuss and consider a presidential candidate's theological views? Should a candidate's theological views affect his public policy positions? Does theological agreement imply political agreement? Miller discusses these issues as they relate to religious debates surrounding the current presidential primary process, and especially as they relate to the candidacies of Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney in the Republican Primary.
