Michael Miller, Acton's Director of Programs, joins host Bill Cunningham on his nationally syndicated weekend show to discuss the problems in the US health care system, and the right and wrong way to fix those problems. Cunningham and Miller discuss the dangers inherent in turning over the intensely personal area over to the same organization that gives us institutions like the DMV and public works projects like the levees in New Orleans. Miller also makes a strong moral argument for freedom and against socialist attitudes that cause people to be risk-averse and treat adults like adolescent wards of the state.
