Ron Blue has spent almost 50 years in the financial services world and the last 35 working almost exclusively with Christian couples. What he has observed is that those who are long term consistent in their generosity exhibit three characteristics that have nothing to do with money. These couples are content, confident, and able to communicate with each other, their children, and advisors if they use them. All of this comes from having answered two questions and made one decision. Ron will be sharing his personal experience and impressions in this event. Take advantage of Ron’s personal experience from 50 years in the financial sector and hear unique financial advice from a faith-based perspective.

Ron Blue

Ron Blue is the founder of Ronald Blue & Co., LLC. He is considered a successful entrepreneur in the financial services industry and an admired leader and speaker on the topic of biblical financial management. He graduated from Indiana University with a Masters of Business Administration degree in 1967 and shortly after joined the management group of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. and worked with the firm in New York City, Dallas, and San Francisco.

In 1970, Ron founded an Indianapolis-based CPA firm that has grown to be one of the 50 largest CPA firms in the United States.  Leaving the CPA firm in 1977, Ron became Administrative Vice President of Leadership Dynamics International.   While with Leadership Dynamics, he was involved in developing and teaching Biblically based leadership and management seminars in the United States and Africa.

In 1979 many factors converged in his life resulting in a God given passion to help Christians plan and manage their finances Biblically. He subsequently helped to found 3 businesses directed to advising and counseling thousands of individuals, families, businesses and charitable organizations in the Biblical principles of money and money management. He has written and communicated extensively on the topic of Biblical money management. As a result of this ministry many families are experiencing confidence in their financial decisions, contentment in uncertain economic conditions, and effective spousal and intergenerational communication about money and money matters. The ultimate consequence has been many dollars freed up for Kingdom purposes. His desire is to encourage the entire body of Christ to pursue this confidence, contentment, and communication in their finances by managing their financial life Biblically. In January, 2012 Indiana Wesleyan University, a leading Christian university, established The Ron Blue Institute which is dedicated to multiplying the over 45 years of professional experience and intellectual property of Ron through curriculum development and other products in multiple outlets worldwide.

Ron and Judy, his wife of 49 years, live in Atlanta, Georgia. They have five children and thirteen grandchildren.
