Website Intern

Will assist our website administrator with the continued development of Acton’s website and specific project related micro-sites.

The ideal candidate should have experience suitable to deal in a multi-tasked environment to efficiently coordinate several projects, will be self-motivated and possess strong problem solving ability. The prospective intern should also have some experience or familiarity with the following:

  • Standards-compliant (X)HTML, CSS, Javascript, and related APIs
  • Concepts of object oriented programming
  • PHP and MySQL
  • *NIX Operating Systems
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Coursework and/or understanding of web administration support, world issues, experience with other cultures, experience in media website outreach

Proficiency in Spanish translation or other languages is a plus.
